Through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Drake University, Bill has led courses on artificial intelligence, helping adult learners discover how today’s AI tools can be used in practical, meaningful everyday ways. His teaching style combines warmth, clear explanations, real-world examples, and an approachable style that resonates with learners of all ages.

Bill is also the founder of Iowa AI Academy and the author of the book "Artificial Intelligence For Beginners". Every student who enrolls in his class receives a free e-copy of the book as part of the course. Drawing on both classroom experience and a lifelong passion for technology, Bill helps beginners explore AI with confidence — without technical jargon or intimidation.
